So I'm sure that a lot of you have been getting a chuckle out of the awe inspiring ten thousand some odd wingers protesting in the capital right now. Trying to hard to work against their own self interests to serve a political party. You can see one of a hundred articles on it here.
Well, I'm not going to spend too much time on them. The jokes write themselves and it winds up being a little sad. What I'm going to focus on, and you probably know this from the diary title, is the wonderful chant of "Palin/Bachmann 2012". I may be a dirty hippie liberal, but THAT is change I can get behind!

You see, the combination of Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann would be political theater at it's finest. The Daily Show would need to cancel any and all hiatuses, because there just wouldn't be any time. Not with two of the dumbest human beings on earth running for President!
Now, the fact that this combination fills me with glee and random squeals should give Republicans pause. I am a Democrat. Much like I know they don't give advice that will benefit us, I'm not going to give them any. So the fact that I'm almost jumping up and down thinking about the pairing should tell them something.
In fact, here is a short list of the only matchups that I think would be easier to defeat than Palin/Bachmann. And an idea for their slogans

- Dick Cheney/George W Bush "Switching Up Who Stays In The Undisclosed Location"
- Orly Taitz/Alan Keys "Our Birth Certificates Are Tattooed On Our Ass"
- Rush Limbaugh/Glenn Beck "Die EXPLETIVE Die"
- Satan/Anti-Christ "TOLD YOU IT WASN'T BARACK"
Going up against Saracudda and the countries leading know nothing would be the best Christmas gift any of us have ever gotten. If we cannot win that election, we should really just give it up because we're pathetic.
So, to my GOP friends, go right on ahead and follow this rabbit as far down the hole as it will take you. I've always thought two things would be wonderful to see in my life, the Republican party burn to the ground or a Chicago Cubs world victory. I think I'm going to get one of those in the years I have, I'm just not holding my breath for my beloved Cubbies.
